Join the “100 Language Challenge for Interdependence”
Following the release of A Declaration of Interdependence, scores of impassioned volunteers from around the globe made visible their commitment to our collective interdependence by translating the film into their native language.
As of today, we have 66 translations completed, and another 9 in progress (a total of 76 translations)!
These translations are possible through our wonderful partnership with dotSUB.

We are now looking especially for less populous languages such as:
Afar, Burmese, Gaelic, Gujarati, Hmong, Kazakh, Khmer, Kurdish, Maori, Samoan, Somali, Swazi, Gujarati, Hmong, Kazakh, Khmer, Kurdish, Maori, Samoan, Somali, Swazi, Tamil, Welsh, Yap, Zulu, all Native American languages, and many of the 6,700 others in the world. If you speak a language that is not on this list, surprise us!
As you can see in the pull-down menu on the video itself, translations for the following languages are already completed:
Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Finnish, French (France), German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Marathi, Mongolian, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
All translators accepted will be credited with their name and language on the websites of the Interdependence Day partner organizations including dotSUB, Connected (the film), Moxie Institute, the Interdependence Movement, 3-Legged Dog Art & Technology Center, WE Campaign, Youth Now and other interdependent global organizations.
