We are seeking interns for this coming summer and fall.
Interns (school credit only), please write to haley@connectedthefilm.com

The Moxie Institute is an award-winning film company (our last 4 films premiered at Sundance). The director is Tiffany Shlain, founder of The Webby Awards, and her work in film, technology and activism has received 50 awards and distinctions. Our films and experiments combining film and technology for innovative distribution have been singled out by The New York Times, Tribeca Institute, and The Sundance Institute.

Our Moxie Institute film studio looks out onto the Ferry Building in San Francisco and the beautiful expanse of the bay and inspires us each day. Our neighbors on the floor include a great mix of cool technology companies and creative producers.

Award-winning indie filmmaking team (last 4 films premiered at Sundance and our new film “Connected” had theatrical release this past fall around the country) is looking for a fun, well-spoken, organized intern or volunteer with good writing skills and an eagerness to be part of our team.

This is a great opportunity to work with award-winning Director Tiffany Shlain, founder of The Webby Awards and director of the 4 Sundance films including ConnectedYelpThe Tribe, and Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (all links below).

We’re currently in the distribution phase on our feature documentary Connected (http://connectedthefilm.com/), and in production on the new short film series Let it Ripple: Mobile Films for Global Change.

We have a beautiful, small, happy office across the Ferry Building with incredible views of the Bay for inspiration.

We are looking for part- or full-time, if you are the right fit. Students seeking credit are ideal, or volunteers looking for invaluable industry experience. Work will range from direct production and distribution, to archiving and grabbing lunch for the team.
